More commonly known for its history, Falls Church is rich in historical sites starting as early as the sixteenth century including the Tinner Hill Arch and Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation which was the location for the first rural chapter of the NAACP, Cherry Hill Farmhouse and Barn, originally a Greek-Revival farmhouse and barn built in the 1800s, The Falls Church, an eighteenth-century Anglican parish and the Birch House built in 1840.
